State champion Estacado to be honored Monday & Thursday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – The state champion Estacado Matadors will not miss out on public accolades just because their great achievement came on the eve of spring break.  There is a celebration scheduled for them Monday at 3:15 PM inside the Estacado High School gymnasium. 

Then on Thursday the Lubbock City Council will honor the 3A state basketball champions at City Hall.  KCBD NewsChannel 11's Pete Christy will do an I Beat Pete challenge during the Monday celebration and you can see highlights of the event Monday on KCBD NewsChannel 11 at 6 & 10.
