Estacado High School state championship celebration

LUBBOCK, TX - The Estacado High School Boys Basketball Team was honored with a celebration at the school Monday. Every EHS student and staff member was given a state championship t-shirt, donated by Advanced Graphix and Lubbock National Bank.

Mayor Tom Martin delivered congratulatory remarks to the team. Brice Foster, representing Congressman Randy Neugebauer, presented the team with a flag that flew over the U. S. Capitol in their honor and an extension of remarks that will appear in the Congressional Record congratulating the team on their accomplishment.

The Lubbock Estacado Matadors were 34-4 overall and 10-0 in district. They finished the season on a 22 game winning streak.
