PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - Plainview ISD School Board President Daniel Rascon has pulled out of the race for re-election. Rascon made the announcement during Thursday's school board meeting.

He says he's decided not to seek re-election due to job conflicts. That cancels the May 8th School Board Election, and means Rascon's opponent Bryan Wood wins the position by default.
