Texas Supreme Court candidate makes Hub City stop

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One of the candidates running for Texas Supreme Court was in town Monday. Fort Worth District Judge Debra Lehrmann has an extensive background in judicial work, and she says she wants to take that a step further by running for place three on the Supreme Court.

"Basically everything that's going to be heard before the Texas Supreme Court I've had the honor of presiding over for over 22 years," says Lehrmann.

Lehrmann faces Rick Green, an attorney and former state representative, in the runoff election April 13th. Green received the most votes during the Republican Primary election. Green will be in Lubbock Tuesday morning at Daybreak Coffee in Kingsgate North from 8 to 10.
