LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – After studying nearly 20,000 people over a decade, German researchers say it's okay to indulge in a little Easter chocolate this weekend. The study published in the European Heart Journal found those who ate the most chocolate had lower blood pressure and a 40% reduced risk for having a heart attack or stroke!
Of course, it's the darker chocolate that has more heart-healthy flavonoids and they add chocolate should not replace healthy food, but including an ounce or so every day may be a good addition to a balanced diet.
