LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – The Swine Flu isn't history yet some hospitals in the southeastern part of the country are reporting a new spike in hospitalizations because of H1N1.  With just 30% of Americans protected by the vaccine, health officials are warning we're not out of the woods yet and it's still not too late to get that shot.

"The H1N1 virus hasn't disappeared, it's still smoldering, still being transmitted in our communities," said William Shaffnet, M.D., with Vanderbilt Medical School.

Experts say they're not sure if this is the start of another wave or just a blip, but one thing is for sure the CDC says if you were vaccinated in the fall, you are still protected.
