American Airline Changes Affect Lubbock Air Travelers

American Eagle is offering fewer flights to air travelers at Lubbock International Airport. The Fort Worth based carrier informed LIA, Tuesday, it will cut three flights from its schedule. The changes start May 2nd. Right now, there are nine flights that depart from LIA.

By the way, if you fly American, the airline carrier has changed its policy on frequent flier miles. Starting May 1st the number of miles needed to get free tickets will jump from 5-thousand points to 15-thousand. The new rates are higher than those at United, Delta and U.S. Air.
