The 2010 Census is underway and the Census Road Tour invites you out to "take 10."

The tour will be at South Plains Mall this morning to promote the importance of being counted. The event begins at 11 a.m., and will focus on increasing Lubbock's census mail back rate - which was 49 percent a few days ago, one point lower than the national average. The van visiting the Hub City is one of 13 vehicles traveling the country to raise awareness for the census.
