LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A second victim in a Friday night motorcycle accident has died. Joshua Otwell, 32, died early Saturday morning at University Medical Center. Saturday evening, Jim Dickens, 35, died from his injuries.
EMS rushed both men to the hospital just after 11:30 p.m. Friday. That's when authorities say Dickens and Otwell were both riding motorcycles and rear-ended a sedan on the southbound access road of I-27.
The people in the sedan were not injured. Investigators say speed and faulty evasive maneuvers contributed to the crash.
