LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – There are only two more classes left in this semester of Community Medical School at TTUHSC. As always the public is invited to learn about a variety of medical issues. The subject this week is what you can do to protect yourself, when it comes to patient safety?

"As a patient, we would like for you to have a list of medications with you at all times. Who prescribed it? What's the name of the drug? How often?" said Rodney Hicks, Ph.D., R.N., and a Professor at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.  "And share that list with us every time you come visit us, we give you an updated list every time you leave our office at Texas Tech so we make you a partner in that delivery system."

Community Medical School is Tuesday, April 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and with just two classes left, tuition has been reduced to only $10.  For more information, just call (806) 743-2008.
