Patients Offered More Privacy Protection At Lubbock Hospitals

Patients can opt to have no information released to the public. However, by doing so, patients will not be able to receive flowers, mail or have anyone call and check the status of their condition including family members.

The new rules go into effect April 14th. Patients will have to sign paperwork to opt for this policy when they are admitted to a hospital.
