Lubbock Group Makes Statement Against War

Despite recent successes in the war, some people in Lubbock feel the United States should not be there.

A group from MoveOn-Lubbock expressed their freedom of speech on the Texas Tech campus Thursday. They say the U.S. should never have started the war without backing from the UN.

MoveOn-Lubbock is a division of MoveOn.org, which has said the U.S. made a rush to war with Iraq. The group will gather again next Thursday at the Lubbock County Courthouse.
