New Reservoir Design Presented to Lubbock City Council

The Citizens Advisory Group recommended a design for a new water reservoir at 82nd St. and Memphis Ave. to the Lubbock City Council today.

As NewsChannel 11 first reported last September, the current reservoir at that site does not meet requirements set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

The new design will cost about $4.5 million. Construction will begin sometime this summer and take about 9 months to complete.
