LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The former prosecutor who impeached President Bill Clinton made a Hub City appearance Friday.
Kenneth Starr was here for the 4th Annual Criminal Law Symposium at the Texas Tech Law School.
In the 1990s, Starr's office spent millions on a probe of Bill Clinton's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. When asked about his role in such a huge legal case, Starr says it's a different time in America.
"We live in a different century that we did then. There are a lot of burning issues that are of interest to the American people. That is of course a part of our history, but it's an increasingly distant part of our history," says Starr.
Starr has been the Dean of the Law School at Pepperdine University since 2004, but he'll take over as President of Baylor University on June 1st.
