Tech Softball Falls to Nebraska 3-1

Texas Tech Softball (30-8) fell to Nebraska (22-17) as the Huskers broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the seventh with two runs and then hung on to beat the Red Raiders, 3-1. The Huskers improve to 2-3 in Big 12 play, while Tech falls to 2-4 in conference action. 

Ashly Jacobs (11-4) absorbed the loss for Tech while Nebraska's Ashley Hagemann (11-8) was credited with the win. Only Leah Legler could manage a hit against Huskers pitching in the effort. 

The two teams finish their series tomorrow at Noon at Rocky Johnson Field.
