LUBBOCK, Texas - For the second consecutive day, Robin Mackin and Ashley Hagemann combined to stymie the Tech offense and Nebraska hands the Red Raiders a 2-0 loss in Big 12 play at Rocky Johnson Field. With the loss, Tech falls to 30-9, 2-5 in conference play while Nebraska improves to 24-17, 3-3.
Ashley Brokeshoulder (7-4) was tagged with the Huskers' two runs in the fourth and took the loss as freshman scattered seven hits and two walks, while fanning only one.
Leah Legler, Holley Gentsch and McKenzie Clemmons were the only three to tally hits for Tech as the Huskers outhit the Red Raiders, 10-3.
The team next travels to Norman for a double header with No. 13/11 Oklahoma on tax day (April 15) and then heads even further north to take on No. 8/7 Missouri over the weekend.
