LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – It's been almost two weeks since the deadline for filling out your 2010 census forms. So, KCBD NewsChannel 11 took a look at census participation rates around the South Plains, and here's what we found. As of Sunday night, the City of Lubbock and Lubbock County both have a 66 percent participation rate. Elsewhere:
- Hockley County 62%
- Lamb County at 56%
- Terry County at 64%
- Hale County at 61%
- Lynn County at 56%
- Floyd County at 60%
- Crosby County at 52%
- Garza County at 70%
