Four arrested after North Lubbock drug bust

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Police SWAT team served a narcotics search warrant early Tuesday morning that put four people behind bars.

The search warrant was for a house in the 500 block of North Chicago Avenue after a lengthy undercover investigation conducted jointly by Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division officers.

693 grams of cocaine, 4.5 grams of methamphetamine and one a half pounds of marijuana were seized. A handgun and a sawed-off shotgun were also seized along with ammunition.

23-year-old Marissa Covarrubio, 35-year-old Diego Vasquez, 23-year-old Jose Valenciano, and 35-year-old Andrea Gonzales were arrested and charged with related felony offenses.
