Lubbock woman in serious condition after Wednesday accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - EMS transported one woman after her car was wrapped around a telephone pole near 98th and Utica around 7:30 a.m.

The driver, Sara O'Neall, was driving eastbound on 98th Street on Wednesday morning, when witnesses say she was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of her Ford Escape and hit a utility pole.

The jaws of life was called out and she was taken to Covenant with serious injuries.

There is no official word on what caused the accident.
