Lubbock Arts Festival continues through Saturday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Arts Alliance will host the 32nd Annual Lubbock Arts Festival this weekend.  The event runs from Friday, April 16th to Sunday, April 18th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The three day celebration will bring visual, performing, and children's arts to Lubbock and the surrounding area.  The theme this year is 'Life, LEGO Art!, and the Pursuit of Happiness'.  Highlighting the show is a special exhibit, 'The Art of the Brick', which is comprised of 30 pieces of contemporary artwork made entirely from LEGO bricks.

You're invited to visit the show from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Friday and Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.  Tickets are $2 for adults.  Children 12 and under cost $1.
