Two hospitalized in south Lubbock car accident Thursday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people have been taken to University Medical Center after an accident at 82nd and Indiana in Lubbock.

According to police, just before 8:30 a.m., a Cadillac sedan was westbound on 82nd Street when the driver lost control, spun out and went into the eastbound lanes hitting a Chevy SUV.

The Cadillac also hit an LP&L utility box, which is being repaired.

The person in the Cadillac was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and the person driving the Chevy SUV was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
