March of Dimes March for Babies rescheduled

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - March of Dimes March for Babies! has been rescheduled for May 8th due to flooding at Mackenzie Park.

The event, originally scheduled for April 17th, has been moved to 9:30 a.m. on May 8th at Mackenzie Park.

March for Babies is one of the largest charitable walking events locally raising almost $250,000 in 2009 and nationally raising $116 million. Corporate Teams, Family Teams and individuals throughout Lubbock and surrounding areas collect donations and then participate in a fun-filled morning walk at beautiful MacKenzie Park. There will be food, music, a family-fun area, and lots of excitement!
