LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) - Workforce Solutions South Plains will host the 9th Annual Employer Awards Ceremony in Lubbock on Wednesday, April 28th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Award Recipients are:
- Exemplary Youth Zone Participant – Dakota Keyser, Levelland High School
- Legacy Volunteer Award – Laurie Truelove, Lubbock County
- Current Workforce Award – Industrial Molding Corporation
- Future Workforce Award – The Institute of Environmental & Human Health At Texas Tech University
- Transitional Workforce Award – Billy Meeks Center/Lubbock MHMR
- Service to Business Award – Lubbock Chamber of Commerce
- Service to Community Award – Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center
- Service to Workers Award – Cargill Meat Solutions of Plainview
- Employer of the Year Award – Tyler Technologies
The program keynote address will be provided by Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade. Additional remarks will be provided by Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin, Martin Aguirre/CEO Workforce Solutions, Texas Workforce Commissioner Representing the Public Andres Alcantar and Workforce Solutions Board Chairperson Adrienne Cozart.
Invocation will be provided by Pastor Jim Gerlt/Bacon Heights Baptist Church. Posting of the Colors provided by Estacado High School JROTC. Entertainment provided by the Texas Tech University Troubadours.
