Lubbock area roads are closed due to flooding

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Street Department has closed the following streets because of flooding:

  • 114th Street, between Quaker and Indiana Avenues
  • 98th Street, between Upland and Milwaukee
  • 8th Place, between West Loop 289 to Dover Avenue
  • South Indiana, between 125th to FM1585

OPENED ON FRIDAY, APRIL 16:

  • Flint Avenue, between Clovis Highway and Harvard Street
  • 23rd Street, Peoria Intersection

OPENED ON MONDAY, APRIL 19:

  • Access to Lake 6
  • Mackenzie Park Entrance on Broadway
  • 114th Street, between Slide Road and Utica Avenue

Additional street closures may be announced as conditions change.
