NewsChannel 11 City Council Candidate Forum has been rescheduled

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – The City Council District 1 candidate forum hosted by KCBD NewsChannel 11 and Lubbock Chamber of Commerce has been rescheduled. 

Due to the possibility of severe weather, the District 1 forum will be from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 23rd, and moderated by Abner Euresti of KCBD, NewsChannel 11. District 1 candidates are Rafael Gutierrez, Victor Hernandez and Glen Robertson.

The event, although not open to the public, will be streamed live at KCBD.com and taped for delayed broadcast on KCBD, NewsChannel 11 and at KCBD's "THIS" station, which can be accessed over the air at channel 11.2 or on Suddenlink Channel 127.

The format for the hour-long forum will include opening and closing statements. In between, candidates will respond to a series of questions.

The forum is organized by the Chamber through its "LubbockBusinessVotes.com" initiative.
