Frenship I.S.D. showcasing visual and performing arts

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Frenship I.S.D. fine arts community welcomes the public to attend the 2nd Annual Frenship Showcase of the Visual and Performing Arts.

The Frenship Showcase is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The event will include the talents of more than 1,500 Frenship students in the performance areas of music, dance, acting and art.

Students representing Frenship High School, Frenship Middle School, Terra Vista Middle School as well as Frenship's elementary schools will be in attendance displaying their talents.

A variety of vocal performances, dance performances and musical performances are scheduled throughout the day in the Performance Theater and South Mezzanine. An array of art displays will be available to view all day in the West Pedestrian Mall.

Admission to the event is free. Donations will be accepted in support of the Frenship Visual and Performing Arts programs.
