Dallas area man killed in Hockley County accident

HOCKLEY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - A rollover in Hockley County kills a Metroplex man.  John Taylor, 54 of Euliss died Friday evening after authorities say he rolled his vehicle along State Highway 114 in Hockley county.

Investigators say he was following another vehicle too closely about four miles west of Levelland. When he tried to avoid the vehicle, authorities say Taylor over-corrected and rolled the vehicle three times.

Taylor was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
