LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - On Monday, Lubbock City Council meets in a special session to discuss the sinking house along 98th Street.  Earlier this week, council approved making an offer to the Southerland family for their home along 98th Street.

They live at 98th and Dover where the roadway and neighboring property are sinking due to faulty sewer line construction. During the special meeting council will discuss a settlement or the possibility of condemning the property.

KCBD NewsChannel 11 will continue to follow this developing story, and we'll have the outcome of the meeting for you on Monday.
