12th Annual Blue Ribbon Rally Car and Bike Show brings awareness for child advocacy

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday, children's advocates met for the 12th Annual Blue Ribbon Rally Car and Bike Show. The Family Guidance and Outreach Center hosted the free rally in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.

Saturday's events included a car and bike show with awards, multiple vendors, live music, a children's area, and a motorcycle fun run. In 2009, 280 children in Texas died as a result of child abuse and neglect.
