Lubbock Firefighters Train For Hazardous Spill

Lubbock Firefighters dealt with a hazardous chemical spill Thursday afternoon, fortunately, it was just for training.

The Potash Corporation was in town training firefighters how to clean up Anhydrous Ammonia. A chemical used in several types of crop fertilizer. The firefighters trained mainly on what to do if a train wreck caused a spill.

Potash is the world leader in manufacturing fertilizer products.
