LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- As the weekend approaches you can expect mostly fair but windy conditions for this Thursday morning. By lunch time skies will be partly cloudy and winds could gust up to 55 mph, with low visibility in blowing dust and very warm afternoon temperatures. As the sun is setting this evening winds will continue and skies will be partly cloudy with a very low chance of thunderstorms in the eastern areas.
Friday's forecast has winds again along with cooler temperatures and partly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance of showers for Saturday with mostly cloudy skies, and cooler afternoon temperatures. Skies will be mostly sunny and conditions breezy.
