Motorcyclist dies after Friday night accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The man severely injured in a motorcycle accident Friday night near Texas Tech University has died.  

Frank Merton, 54, died Saturday morning at University Medical Center. Lubbock Police say Merton was headed south on Texas Tech Parkway around 9 p.m. Friday when he lost control and crashed. Investigators say he was not wearing a helmet.
