PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) – Up to 35 families in Plainview might be forced out of the Rio Concho Mobile Home Park, according to the Plainview Daily Herald.
Quoting from the Daily Herald, "Potholes could swallow a small car. Grass and weeds need to be mowed. A few mobile homes are broken down or appear abandoned." But that's not the real issue.
Plainview city officials say Rio Concho has not paid its water and garbage bills. Wednesday is the deadline. So even if residents have paid the landlord for these services, they'll still be cut off if the landlord does not, in turn, pay the city. The paper estimated that up to 80 people might be affected.
KCBD NewsChannel 11 did leave a phone message for the owner.
