After rolling her van several times, emergency workers used the jaws of life to free a woman from the wreckage Monday afternoon in west Lubbock.
Around 2 p.m., police say a woman going east on the Brownfield Highway missed a turn at Chicago Ave. She hit the corner of a driveway and a light pole before rolling her vehicle.
Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially thrown through the windshield. EMS took the woman to UMC in critical condition. Her name has not been released.
