Wanted fugitive taunts Lubbock police on MySpace

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -Since March 21st, Daniel Reyna has been on the run.

Lubbock Police believe he and Sergio Gonzalez are the suspects in multiple crimes across the Hub City.

"We have a number of home invasions, a number of burglaries, and a number of thefts where there are still outstanding stolen property," said Captain Greg Stevens with the Lubbock Police Department.

Currently both are wanted on an aggravated robbery warrant. On Tuesday Lubbock Police uncovered a second stash of stolen goods and guns in a north Lubbock storage unit, believed to be linked to Reyna.

After the news broke, he then updated his myspace page stating, "Look LPD y'all are good. Good job and you might get more storages if you do your job right, so y'all got two, so you still need four more."

"We'll take that information and take it at its face value and evaluate it and see what kind of usefulness it might provide," said Stevens.

Lubbock Police say despite the taunting they are investigating this case no differently .

"People have the perception that it's somehow louder or bigger or bolder or something of that nature when in reality its not," said Stevens.

Reyna later types that he is no longer in Lubbock. He writes, "Look LPD I'm going to help y'all out a little. I'm not in the 806, ok. Try looking in the 910 area, NC. So that's all I'm going to say so come on if y'all want me."

910 is an area code in North Carolina.

"We are working with other law enforcement agencies in this investigation in particular, but again I don't want to give too much away on that," said Stevens.

Around 7:00 Wednesday night, Reyna writes "Don't get mad every dog has his day and so do I, I'll turn myself in soon, just chill."

If you know where Reyna or Gonzalez are or have any information you are urged to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
