LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people are recovering after a two vehicle wreck in South Lubbock County. It happened around four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at the intersection of University and Woodrow Road.

A white Chevy pickup truck ran into the back of a suburban stopped at the intersection.

"The pickup truck driver said he was talking with occupants in the vehicle, looked up, and saw the Suburban stopped and rear ended it," said Cpl. John Gonzalez with the Department of Public Safety.

The driver and a passenger in the pickup were transported to Covenant and UMC with unknown injuries. The driver and passenger in the Suburban were not hurt.
