LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- This morning is forecasted to have mostly sunny skies early in the day with mild temperatures. This afternoon skies will remain sunny, with breezy conditions and hot temperatures. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90's today, the record high for this day was set in 2000 with a high of 99 degrees. As the day comes to an end conditions are going to be fair.
Mostly sunny skies, much cooler temperatures and windy conditions are in store for Friday, with high temperatures in the low to mid 70's. Saturday will be cloudy and cooler with a high in the low 60's. Temperatures will be in the low 80's for Mother's Day with partly cloudy skies and windy conditions. There is a slight chance of evening thunderstorms as the weekend comes to an end.
