Crazy temperatures are hitting the South Plains


LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- End of the week temperatures will be cool with gusts near 40 mph. Afternoon skies will be sunny with much cooler temperatures and breezy conditions. Highs for today will be in the low 70's. As the sun sets this evening clouds will move into the area and temperatures will be much cooler with a low in the low 40's.

Temperatures will be in the 60's on Saturday, with mostly cloudy skies, and breezy conditions. The eastern viewing areas have a slight chance of afternoon and evening showers on Mother's Day. Skies will be mostly cloudy and conditions will be breezy for your holiday celebrations with a high temperature in the mid 70's.
