City Of Lubbock Celebrates Earth Day - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Tuesday is the 33rd Anniversary of Earth Day. In honor of the day, Lubbock's Public Work's Department had a recycling trailer at Market Street at 50th and Indiana.

All day people dropped off everything from soda cans to newspapers. The trailer is gone now, but the city maintains recycling centers year-round at three locations.
