East Texas Grandmother Accused Of Killing Granddaughter

Julia Marie Cameron of Tyler pleaded guilty Monday to the shaking death of her granddaughter Trekeya.

The 2-year-old girl was living with Cameron while her mother was away in prison. But, in September of 2001, Cameron brought the child to a Tyler Emergency Room in a coma and her body covered in bruises. The child died a week later.
