March of Dimes "March for Babies" this Saturday at Mackenzie Park

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - March of Dimes "March for Babies" is Saturday, May 8th at Mackenzie Park.

The event was originally scheduled for April 17th, but was postponed due to the weather. It is now scheduled for Saturday, May 8th at Mackenzie Park. The March for Babies will start at 9:30 a.m.

March for Babies is one of the largest charitable walking events locally raising almost $250,000 in 2009 and nationally raising $116 million. Corporate Teams, Family Teams and individuals throughout Lubbock and surrounding areas collect donations and then participate in a fun-filled morning walk at beautiful MacKenzie Park. There will be food, music, a family-fun area, and lots of excitement!
