Lubbock mail carriers work to "Stamp Out Hunger"

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday Lubbock mail carriers weren't just delivering mail - hey were doing their part to"Stamp Out Hunger" across America.

Folks around town left bags of non-perishable food out for them to pick up when they dropped off their mail. It's a nationwide effort, and this year they hope to collect even more than last year's record-breaking 73.4 million pounds of food.

If you missed the drive, but still want to help out you can online. Campbell's Soup Company said they will donate 1 can of food, up to 1-million cans, for every person who becomes a fan of the Stamp Out Hunger Drive Facebook page.
