Parents & Principal angry about Plainview yearbook cover, poem

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Does Plainview's 2010 yearbook contain a vulgar message?  Some say yes, while the two students who wrote it say no.

A story Sunday morning on the Plainview Daily Herald website repeats the 7 line poem.  If you only look at the first letter of each line it seems to spell out vulgar suggestion. The principal is quoted saying she does not believe it's a coincidence.

Adding insult to injury, the title of the yearbook is Plainview High School: Time Well Wasted.  Parents are angry and so is the principal, who discovered it after it went to press.
