Lotto Players Hope To Cash In On Luck

There was no winner in Saturday night's drawing of the Lotto Texas jackpot, now there are more than a million reasons to pick up a lottery ticket tonight. 35-million to be exact!

Convenience stores across the South Plains have experienced a steady flow of customers throughout the day.

Many area lottery goers believe King's Food and Gas may have an edge. "Our ticket sales have been very good. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday we had a lot of people buying their tickets early to avoid the rush. We're blessed over here, that we have a big lottery volume. We're number two on the whole south plains from Midland-Odessa all the way to the Panhandle. So, a lot of people come here thinking we have the luck, and we hope we do have the luck," said Robert Ramirez, Owner of King's Food and Gas.

A flood of lawsuits over LGBT rights is making its way through courts and that'll continue, no matter what the Supreme Court decides in the case of a baker who wouldn't create a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.
