Federal Inquiry Ends After TTU Professor Changes Policy

A federal investigation is over now that a Texas Tech professor has changed his policy for giving letters of recommendation.

The U.S. Department of Justice had been investigating Dr. Michael Dini's policy that required his students to believe in Evolution. Many students believed that policy violated their religious freedoms under the Constitution. Dr. Dini has now changed his policy.  It now reads students must be able to fully understand Evolution, not believe in it.

A spokesman for the Department of Justice called Dini's decision a complete victory.
