LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Silver Alert has been canceled for a missing Panhandle man and is now safe at home. DPS Troopers caught up with 90-year-old Carol Pauline Whatley Jr. on Thursday afternoon.
The Department of Public Safety reported that Whatley was last seen on Wednesday around 3:00 p.m. at his home in Fritch, Texas.
A good samaritan saw the TxDOT Alert signs in New Mexico and then saw Whatley's car at a motel.
DPS troopers caught up with him as he crossed back into Texas.
