LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Music may be key to helping Alzheimer's disease patients remember new information.
Researchers from Boston University School of Medicine say Alzheimer's patients were better able to recall something they heard when there was music playing. The same test on healthy adults without dementia did nothing for their ability to remember things, but in Alzheimer's patients, music appeared soothing and helpful.
