Abernathy man sentenced to 20 years in prison

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An Abernathy man who led a meth ring is headed to prison.

U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings sentenced 56-year-old Rolando Carrasco to 20 years in prison for leading a major drug trafficking ring.

Cummings also ordered Carrasco to give up residences in Abernathy and Littlefield, as well as eight vehicles.

Carrasco pleaded guilty in March to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess methamphetamine.
