Utility work to close portion of 4th Street Sunday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD0 - Get ready for more road blocks around Lubbock.  The Texas Department of Transportation will close 4th Street from Avenue A to MLK Jr. Boulevard starting Sunday morning. 

The closure is scheduled to start at 7:00 a.m.  It will allow NTS Communications to move utility lines under the roadway.  Construction should only take about 8 hours to complete, weather permitting.
