LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Neighbors say a pit bull killed a cat and bit a woman near the intersection of 32nd and Avenue N around 1:00 p.m. Monday.
Animal Services, EMS and Lubbock Police responded to the scene and captured the dog. A neighbor who called 911 heard loud screams.
"She was screaming her head off and I live three houses down and I heard her all the way from my house. I called 911 and didn't know a dog bit her thank god she's okay," says neighbor Amanda Segura.
The woman refused EMS treatment. The pit bull is in the custody of animal services.
